The technical program committee of the symposium will decide whether an extended abstract is selected for full paper (oral), or poster presentation. Both types of papers will be included in the CD-ROM Proceedings and in IEEE Xplore. Preparation and Submission of Camera-Ready Papers (Oral Presentation)Paper FormattingExamples: PDF Version | ps VersionThe paper heading should include the paper title and author names set across the full page width. The complete affiliations of the authors (with email addresses) should be set as symbol-tagged footnotes in the first column of the paper (In MS-Word, please use Endnote instead of footnote). Please adhere strictly to the 2-column 10-point font format in the body of the paper. The full paper must not exceed eight letter-sized pages in length. Pages should be without page numbers.
With these margins, the column width is approximately 3.3inches (8.4cm). LaTeX2e users are encouraged to use the style file sis_conf.sty. Creation of PDF fileFinal paper submissions are accepted only in PDF. Please use Type 1 font in creating the PDF-file. Type 3 font (bit-mapped) is not acceptable (After running Latex, first try to use argument "-P pdf" in dvips). All PDF papers must be compliant with IEEE publication specifications for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Authors have three choices for ensuring compliance:
IEEE Copyright Form SubmissionAll authors must submit an IEEE Copyright Form. Papers cannot be published in the Proceedings without an IEEE Copyright Form.Please print the form (PDF, MS Word), fill it out, and send it to the symposium via one of the means below:
Please submit a PDF copy of the full paper electronically by May 2, 2005 via the paper submission page. Preparation and Submission of PostersFor the posters, easels with an area of 4 x 6 feet (122cm wide x 183cm high, portrait orientation) will be provided. Push pins will be available. Poster presenters should also submit a paper, in the same format described above, not exceeding four letter-sized pages in length. Please submit a PDF copy of the full paper electronically by May 2, 2005, via the paper submission page. |
